Question Middle Georgia Arrowhead, stone - needs ID'd please

I found this while metal detecting for CW relics on some old property in Georgia. I was digging a shallow target and out pops this guy in the clay. Apparently there's a hill near this area called Arrowhead hill where they've found hundreds of arrowheads. I'm not sure what the material is but I suspect stone. Any idea on the age? I put a penny on it for reference. I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

Sorry. The stone that it is made out of is, I believe, Coastal Plains Chert - a silicified form of quartzite. Be easier to tell if you clean it with warm water and a toothbrush and get a good clear photograph of it in indirect sunlight. Not 100% sure what point type it is, but I'd guess it was made in the Middle to Late Archaic era - sometime between 2,000 and 5,000 years ago. Nice little piece of prehistory!

I'll get some clearer pics of it tomorrow. Thanks again for your expertise.
