ID help please

just wanted to know if anyone here might know what this is? I was thinking it might be a woodworking tool. Its hard to tell from the pictures but one side is not worked and the other side is worked quite well. It is a GB find. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It's an end scraper. I would bet it's paleo or early archaic. Any stemmed points or Crescents ever turn up in the same area this scraper was found?

Hey bud, ya quite a few stemmed points but no crescents yet. I have found a few end scrapers but this one is quite different from the others. It has an edge all the way around it so it seems to me it would be difficult to use it without cutting yourself. But I aggree its most likely paleo.

Those old scrapers have a lot of variation. Sometimes just one area was worked, other times they worked all the edges. It's a really nice scraper, way better than average.

Very nice PES. Funny how the paleos liked to use material that was not obsidian for their end scrapers.
