point ID, please
hello, These two came from the same area here in.Oregon. just wondering if anyone here might know what they are. At first I though they were broken tips but after closer look I think they are complete. the one with the red in.it is petrified wood and I think the other one is flint.. Anyway any info would be great.
Thanks guys |

If I had found those in the southern GB where I hunt I would call them Cottonwood triangles. Both very large examples if that is what they are being that type is an arrowpoint vs. a dart.

I would agree with Sierratracker, triangular dart point of some type. That petrified wood one is beautiful. Great find.

Thanks guys, I have found a few triangles there but these were bigger and skinnier than most. I guess ole woody is gunna be the new centerpiece in my triangle case :-)
