Hoe?
This piece(s) was found on a small plowed hill top on a Perry Co., Missouri farm in a two year span (two pieces first year and the bit end the next). I have asked others about it, and there thoughts were that it's a hoe. I'm just looking for a second (or third
opinion) The field itself was in long use as I have found paleo uniface blades, a fluted base, and Dalton bases to nutting stones and woodland points.

I don't know much about your area but I'd say "hoe" rings true. And boy is it a dandy!

How thick or thin is it?

Hoe or some kind of tool.
Kinda reminds me of a fur-stretcher or a fleshing board. |

The piece is roughly 1 1/2 inches at the center in thickness, approximately 4 inches in width at the widest, and about 14 3/4 inches long. (tough to measure) Is elliptical in shape. It flattens to a sharp edge at the bit. (see added photos)
