Great Basin or Plains.?
Recently picked this up in a trade, Thought it was an Elko at first, but I keep looking at it, and sometimes wondering. Thanks for any opinions. Dave

Sorry, can't help you on the type. Out of my range.
But I will say it's one very nice looking Point. I really like the two toned material.

yes, it sorta looks like a Elko.. but i'd have to say it is not.. the lithic material is interesting,
but I am going to say it's from East of the Rockies... ![]()

It looks like a Besant from the Plains. Interesting how the shading splits right down the middle. Good trade.

Pelican Lake from the Plains would be my first guess, but it could be an Elko too. Nice point either way and I love that two toned material.

Looks most like a high plains Yonkee, to me... Interesting material, also... Nice piece..

Thanks! I am leaning to a Plains point, also. Was hoping T. Westfall would give an opinion, have seen some of his points with similar material.
