Help with this artifact?

Not sure what I have here or even if it's anything. I'm a gold prospector and I found this 'dagger' like artifact. What makes this especially interesting is that is has a grip.

I've got a video on YouTube with a better explanation. Here is that link.

The picture is attached as well. Any help in identifiying this item would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

That could be, not an artifact, but a fossil instead. A Coprolite.

AKA Fossilized poop!

I am thiking along the same lines as Indy and that it's a fossil and not an artifact. I don't see any evidence of it being worked by man. The "blade" doesn't seem to have any kind of flaking on it to make the edge sharp and the "handle" looks to be formed by erosion.

I say geofact or fossil.

Good,,, bad or Indifferent. It is what it is.
I agree with Steve and Lewis.Goefact or Fossil.
Just Because a Rock fits in your hand "Egronomically does not make it a Native American Artifact.
Like Steve said,,,,,Look for evidence of the rock being Altered by Man.////c

Just because there are no flake scars does not mean it is not an artifact. I have a similar artifact found in a mound with a small grooved axe associated, it was not flaked but is ground, and the material of both it and the axe are the same and not indigenous to Florida.

I'm not saying it is an artifact, i'm just saying a piece can be ground and not flaked and have a similar appearance to this piece.
