Mark.
Small World. This Point was Purchased by My dad as a Holland. Then Papered as a Holland.
I remember this artifact. We were a little suspect on the Holland type.So we sent it out.
Felt Pretty good with a little confirmation and got rid of it pretty quick and did not loose any $.
I think you got a Pretty good artifact for $25.,,,,even if the Paper is not right/jmo/////c

I can see where Mr Baker may have been coming from on this one. Here is one of my own that I have always typed as a Holland knife as well. This type is found around here on great occasion. Mine has however got some thickness to it, and is both ground and beveled too. If not Holland on my own blade, then otherwise not sure what to call it. Either way, Mark's isn't to far past this one in the overall sharpened down cycle of things. Am wide open to direction on this one of mine.

Mike, yours looks more like a Holland than the one Mark has by a long shot. I have 2 Hollands myself, or at least 2 Points I am typing as Holland. One I found here locally and the other I got in a collection of Oklahoma pieces I bought.

The first 3 pictures are of the one I found and the last 2 are of the one I purchased. Both have very nice grinding on the bases. I think both are Hollands.

Yours and Steves look like more classic form. Some thickness and I can see the grinding on your guys. This one is very thin and I cant feel any grinding. Well......at least its real!
