Agate beads or ?
I found these weird twisted agate bead like things in a campsite and im wondering what they are? the longer twisted one also has a perfect hole down the middle as do the more broken ones. Are they some kind of a natural formation that they used or?
Thanks guys |

They look like sea worm fossils.

Really, that is very interesting. Ive found 7 of them in about a 20ft area. They come from a site quite a ways inland, I wonder how far away they came from. They have some very beautifull colors in them and all have a solid color running down the middle of the inside, guts or something maybe? Do you think they were using them as necklace ornaments?

I can't imagine. Lots of previous people liked to collect neat stuff too, as we do.
