Archaic?

Found this little 1 inch point today in a wash out gullie on a creek. It came a turd floater of a storm last night and I had the day off. This one is paper thin and about an inch long with a slightly ground base Im just unsure of type...copena? Yall bear with me Im just now learning types of flint, points etc. Found it in Middle Tn. I found one almost identical to it about 10 or so years ago in the same area. Thanks for looking, let me know if you need more pics.

Wrong forum. The Typology forum is for posting know types and a description of such for people to use as an ID guide. This belongs in the What In The World forum so I moved it there for you.

Thanks.

Looking through a common identification guide ,
your piece resembles a mid to late Archaic blade
sometimes called ' Frazier '
Looks to be a very nice thin piece .

Yes it is very thin, probably the thinest of any ive found, very cool to me! I hope to post a few more pics and a side by side of one I picked up many years ago in the same area that very well might be its twin. Thanks for looking.
