clovis or dalton

hello everyone, Im new to the forum so please bear with me. i found this point this summer while walking a trail along the river where i have been finding a few bird points an evens point and i think a gary point. i bent down to flip over what i thought was a flake, but there was a lot more of it under the sand. it measures 2 7/16x1 it was found in southeast arkansas. Not sure of the material. any help whould be great. thanks birdpoint

Looks more Clovis or Folsom to me but I am far from an expert. Super cool find!

I'm pretty sure it's paleo but not sure of the type. Not a Folsom though. Very good find. Thanks.

I'd go with a Dalton variant.
Say, are they doing the show in Warren, AR again this year? I had a blast last time.

I'm with Lewis,,Dalton,,maybe made from Reeds Spring (boone) river coble,
Lots of folk refer to Dalton as Paleo,,,but they are Early Archaic. Hence the term "transitional Paleo",,, to me thats like saying 11 1/2 inches,,,,,is a transitional Foot. but thats just me,,,,,why not call it what it is.
