what is this thing?

I was going through the ole chip box and I noticed that this had been worked. It looks like it was hafted. Is it a axe, headsplitter or hafted chopper or? Any ideas guys?

Looks like a geofact. I think the hafting area is coincidental. FWIW.

Kick a Cat
I am not familiar with the rocks utilized in your area,,but it does look like a Tool,,,esp. if you found it in context to other artifacts.
Instead of looking at the whole shape,,,,Does it show Knapping down into the Initial Flake removals,,,,If so I would say you found a Good Spoke Shave///c

I found it in a known site less than a foot away from a paleo scraper. This thing was covered in mud when i grabbed it and I didnt notice the flaking until I cleaned it. My first thought was spokeshave but this thing is gigantic compared to the other spokeshaves ive found there.

Fishing near Buy?

Could it be a net sinker. The tie end was all they needed to hold it on the bottom of the net.
