Greetings from Ft. Myers, Florida!

Just found this Forum from a post in TheFossilForum.com. Being a collector of rocks and fossils for years, I have have had an interest in artifacts for many years. Grew up in Southern Indiana and saw many very nice collections by friends. Grandparents had a few items from years of farming. Summer vacations in Indiana allowed for a few artifact collecting trips and resulted in the beginnings of a collection.

Florida's artifact laws have frightened me away from collecting here, but with retirement this summer, I plan to see other parts of the country to collect fossils and rocks. Will plan to keep my eyes and ears open to artifact opportunities.

Looking forward to learning more about artifacts. Great forum!
