Hi all, Name is Bill and I live in Montgomery County Texas.

Bill you're in a good area, concentrate on the creeks around there..... look for deposits of gravel on the banks, bends, etc..... wherever the gravel accumulates on the creeks you'll find some points

I've always been kicking around in the dirt looking for shiny things, have been interested in geology, and since I learned my Great Grandmother was 100% Indian everthing started to fit. Aside from a collection I want to preserve the American Native culture. I have the upmost respect for them and their way of life.
