New Guy Fron Northwest Illinois

Greetings all....First post and just wanted to share some recent finds. The first pics are what I believe to be a nutting stone. It is pitted on both sides and looks to have 2 drill holes in one side and 1 hole with the start of a second on the other side.

The second pic is a piece of sandstone...roughly 4x4 with all these markings like maybe a knappers stroping stone. The marks look like they were done by hand and not farm machinery....what is it.
