Ya'll do. Spouse says I do. I say acorn like it is supposed to sound. He says 'Oh no, a - corn' I say 'no sweetie. Acorns fall from a tree and corn grows from the ground'. Seriously I think his 'Accent' is cute.

My sister's been teaching in Mississippi for 2 years now and came back with a bit of a southern twang layered over her quazi-boston accent..."it's wicked dahk ya'hur", sort of an abomination. She lives right near the river surrounded in all directions by fields and I always tell her to look, she says it smells too bad. Think I'll have to get down there and maybe see what it's like to find more than 1 point a month

Just one more funny 'accent' situation.
While in northern California, I ran back into a grocery to quickly get ice. To one of the young men packing, I said 'Where's th ice?' He looked at me strangely so
I repeated my request. I figuring, he was a tad off, said slowly 'ice I C E' He relaxes and said 'Oh it is over there' humm maybe English is his second language
My Mom was born and raised in New York City - she didn't have much of any accent. Thus I have a soft spot for all you sweet Yankees, and if Texas ever cools off, ya'll need to come on down and find your weight in flint tools and perhaps a few points as well.
