Enjoyed the pics thus far! Are you finding flint at least???
Use extra caution diggin' (tunneling) like that! It can be quite dangerous and can collapse without warning,, esp with no tree/root stabilization. The point looks like an Adena point to me. Nice find and color! Jason |

My buddy that I've hounded with since my teens went out to my property and was sifting through the creek and finally scored his first point.
He was up to par with the crew on petrified wood and crinoids, but always kinda felt left out when there was talk of arrowheads. He actually introduced me to this site, and digging for that matter. He's been sifting the last few trips when me and our other friend went out walking beaches. We thought he was buzzing with all that sifting. Not any more! Congrats to my boy illmaterial for finding his first point. Also, I'm stoked that he found it out at the camp. I'm trying to set up his account now so he can join in(finally feeling like one of the crew). Quote:
