New member from Northeast Texas
I've been looking in from the outside for awhile. Thought I would finally sign up so mabey I can contribute to the community. It really seems like there a lot of very knowledgeable collectors on this site. I could use some of that expertise.
I only really have 2 sites that I hunt. My main site is a large campsite along a hill top on my property. It is in a heavily wood area, so the only way to hunt it is to dig. I have found some probable Paleo all the way to historic arrow points. I look forward to joining in the discussion. Chris |

I'm another new member, and would like to begin by asking for information. I am attaching a picture of 26 points I found just north Sulphur Springs, TX (Hopkins County) in 1963. They were all found less than 100 feet from one another in a plowed field just after a rain. The area was slightly raised in the field, and a there were a lot of small bone fragments present.
![]() I was transferred out of the country by my company shortly after finding the points, and have not thought much about them since. I am just getting back into searching for artifacts (at my daughter's ranch in New Mexico), and am interested in learning all I can about the points in the picture. Anything anyone can tell me about these would be much appreciated. Thanks. |
