New From West Missouri

Heres my introduction! Ive followed this website for many years just trying to id my finds. I figured why not join?! So here i am, located east of KC, Missouri. Heres a few of my finds. Im thinking theyre old; one is kinda like a plainview, the other a lance possibly a searcy, the black one i was told a preform, and the y shaped one i was told is a heavily resharpened dalton. I would like to see what all the members think so please keep this thread going! lol If you want close ups just please ask. Also ill keep posting more pics of the collection and hopefully get feedback of what they are. Thanks!

Some fine lookin old points there,,I agree with the types you've been told. Looks like a few of them could be labeled "this" or "that" depending on what you choose. thanks for the look!

Welcome from the other side of Missouri

Thanks everyone for checking em out and the support! The black and the blue cherts are all local, Bethany Falls and Winterset. The y shaped one i would have to put in vinegar to find out what exactly the type of chert it is. The 2 lances I found where off the same gravel bar. These are all creek finds if you can tell from the pictures (heavy oxidation). The one on the far right was in vinegar for weeks to clean it up.

Yea a 10-40 scale(I think) I would use it for geological maps in college, make life so much easier. I like the name nebo hill where I live the type site is directly north across the Missouri R. Check out my cahokia point I found in the 2011 best forum. Where I found it in the Mo river bottoms I can see Nebo hill. Thanks for checking this page out! I'm gonna put some more pics up today and everyone check out my albums.
