new from northwest st louis county

hi,recently got the bite and have been taking my 10 year old point hunting.patience is a virtue i must say.his grandmother gave him a few and he found his first point yesterday although broken it was fairly large and a good start.found it in lincoln county.any tips would be great.great website by the way.

we looked for hours around the missouri river when it was low around st charles.any of you guys have luck on the river bank?

Thats the KEY,,,when it's low enough. You have to put your time out on those bars, but they will eventually produce. I've had little success on the Missouri, but I know for a fact they produce some killers. Helps to have a boat of course.

Welcome Oldproline! MO. Rivers are great places to find these just keep in mind there are strange laws related to "'disturbing" or taking certain things. I have a couple links will leave on visitor message on your profile page. Hope you two keep up the hunting and find some nice ones.

Welcome from west mo! Your in an awesome place for arrowheads and hope you find some. I haven't ever had luck on the river but Im going to keep trying. Good luck!
