I used to live in Louisville, and there are lots of great areas around Lexington. Some amazing relics, but it was hard to get permission on some of the farms close to the city.

If you are looking to start collecting in Kentucky, a great group of people from central Kentucky used to meet every month in Richmond (about 25 miles or so from you depending on which side of Lexington you live on.) The best way to make friends at a meeting like this is to take a frame of your pieces with you.

You might reach out to Monte to see if they are still getting together.

Welcome from Bandera County Texas
Don't be timid, just jump right in and post your pictures. Not hard if you read the instructions - or just let spouse do it

Seriously you will learn so much, really nice folks here
