New member...N. Central Texas looking for dig buddies

Hello everyone....my name is Sam and I've been addicted to arrowhead hunting for a few years now. I'm standing up here today to tell you all that I've been clean for two weeks now and...
well...
it's only because I can't find someplace close! The temperature and humidity is crazy here in Texas and I'm ready to risk a heat stroke if anyone nearby has access to a site. I will hunt with you and let you keep what I find if they are on your property! If it's your buddies place, well then whatever his rules are. I've only surface hunted, never dug or screen sifted but want to learn. I have a very flexible schedule and can make a trip any day of the week.
I hope to fall off the two week wagon soon. Hopefully my family and friends will forgive me for my day and sometimes week long trips out of town in search for flint.
Any locals around DFW Intl interested in some extra eyes, mentoring, trading spots? I may have a site in Hamilton, Texas available, just gotta make a phone call and pick a time/date.

Good news....

I just found a guy on texas cache that is retired has digging for free on his place and spent hours searching texas cache to find out if it's true and it's cool. Just spoke with Richard near Granbury, seems like a daily invite, cool guy, not creepy, retired and doesn't charge because he's just a good ole boy. Too many good things and posts about him for it to not be true. Going this week....Call him yourself for info and to get a feel for the situation.

Good spots are hard to come by. i found out that just being your self and being honest is one of the best ways to talk to someone about diggn on their place. like i told my wife a few years ago, when i was doing only pay digs, i would rather pay to dig, instead of trespassing somewhere else! plus im 6'4 326 pounds, and white as a ghost at nite, where the hell am i going to hide! anyways i hope u found somewhere to search for artifacts.
