Hola from the Piney Woods of East Texas

New guy here from SE Texas. 33 years old, married to a beautiful, wonderful woman. We have a 2 year old daughter toghether and are trying to have another.

I grew up with an interest in artifacts that was recently re-kindled with a trip home to Wyoming. I've inherited a very small collection that was my grandfathers. It has 4 points (3 complete) with one that I suspect to be a fake. It just looks too new. I'm told my grandfather bought the points from a friend who said he found them in Wyoming.

I do have one large point (incomplete) that I know is good as it was found (I was present when found) on what used to be our Ranch in Weston Co Wyoming and I've been in possession of it since(pushing 30 years ago). I'll get pics of the points up when I have a little free time. I've got quite a few interesting fossils collected from the ranch as well.

Anyway, I was shocked to find that the area of Texas I live in is pretty ripe with points and was more shocked to find that the laws will not let you pick up surface finds on public land. Another frustrated and torn collector looking for private land to hunt (an almost impossible task in the area I live in).
