OK hunter

My name is Josh and I've been on the site now for about a month and have never introduced myself. I have hunted arrowheads off and on my whole life, mainly with my father. He has hunted all of his life and has thankfully passed it down to me. He grew up next to the Arkansas river so always had a place to hunt that produced well. Growing up I went with him as much as I could. I try to go all that I can but I am self employed and that eats up most of my time. I'm trying to get really serious about devoting all of my free time to studying ancient people of north America as well as collecting artifacts. I really love this site and hope that I can contribute all my knowlege as well as learn all I can from other people just as interested in the subject as I am. Thank you for letting me apart of the site and I hope to make aquaintance with you all soon! -Josh

Josh I run the family Stone Fab & Tile Business and for most of the past 10yrs it's been 24/7 for me. In just the past 2 yrs though we have restructured our company with the aim to get more personal ( any) time...and it has worked. I get away every month or so now and life is better.

I don't know what business you are in but there is hope if you have employees.

I am in business with a buddy of mine and we build picture frames and sell them all over the country. I am actually on the road at the moment heading to PA...lonnng drive. I'm lucky if I get one day off a month. I try to squeeze in hunting early in the mornings when I can but low light and only about an hour to hunt makes it difficult to find much...I'm gonna stay dilligent though

We've never dealt with stone frames but that would be a neat concept. We mainly build with weathered barnwood. Gives a nice rustic look. I've been meaning to build an arrowhead frame out of it but haven't yet.

I bet there would be a few artifact collections that would look really good in a barnwood frame. How about making a prototype and filling it up and posting it here? Just an idea....I know some of my stuff would look great in a frame of barnwood!
