Been here a while

but haven't introduced myself in this thread. I live outside Little Rock. My wife and I moved around a lot and when we finally moved back to AR I found my dad's arrowhead collection in a box. It got me fired up and I immediately went out and bought a bunch of fakes at an auction. I guess it is an education we all go through.

I mostly collect Arkansas stuff, paleo and archaic. I love to hunt but it's hard to find the time or the spots. I still love archaeology and I try to inhabit that moderate middle ground that respects both collectors who love the artistic beauty of artifacts and archaeologists who spend their lives trying to learn more about native Americans.

I spent 23 years in the high tech world, which is equivalent to about 150 years in the normal world. I rode a company down from 300,000 to 30,000 people, if you can imagine the stress of that. I retired and now I work at a church doing communications and social networking, atoning for my corporate sins.
