Hello from Kansas City Ks! Anyone in the area?

Hey all!

Im new to the site! So hey whats up! I really love forum surfing here. You all have a wonderfully active community it seems.

Just moved up to Kansas city Ks. Had a rough time finding spots to hunt besides the Ks river. Was just out today, and the river is down but im forced to drive to alot of random spots because I dont have a boat. But its not too bad. Was wondering if anyone else is in the area that could offer some assistance. Im not too familiar with creeks/farmland/and such in this area.

I have done alot of hunting in the Manhattan/junction city area. Rivers, feilds, creeks, spings etc. Just trying to settle in here.

welcome to the forum, from central missouri glad to have you on board !!! you might try north of kansas city around the platte river areas and drainage systems north of there it seems to be better up that way to me anyways but i do not get over there very much .

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Ive tryed a small amount on two creeks off of the ks. Mill creek and kill creek. Your platte city recomendtion I might try. Ive read about the area up north recently and I was thinking of trying the river near atchison. I guess the lewis and clark trail is along that area as well and Ive read about some nice cache's found in that area.

Ill try to dig out some stuff to show soon. still getting situated and alot of stuff is packed away.

If anyone needs a huntin buddy in the area hit me up! i dont mind drivin. Might also be planning a missouri trip soon to try some streams off the east side of the ozarks. The osage i think its called.

cheers!
