I'm in eastern Denton County. Haven't found but a few places to hunt here. The three lakes should be a good location but you need a boat to access most areas. The trip to Greenville is where I've been shown more places to look. Lewis is good at getting you on the spots. Let me know how it goes.

Yeah I miss that whole area. It was either go walk fields or go fish either way was good day. Once I got the bug I really didn't spend much of my free time doing much else. Seems most land owners were real nice as long as you were not stomping there crops, they actually liked us moving any of the bigger rock out of there field to help keep from tearing ther equioment up. wish I had knowledge of this area as I do of that area. here is a small sample of some of what was found there.
And thank you to all the nice welcome messages, it sure is nice to find a place where people are still people and are willing to let you know your welcome.

Thanks for all the nice greetings and welcome notes. Kentlangreder I do miss the SE Mo. area with all the different area's to walk and variety of artifacts to find. I wish I had the same conditions here. Rmartin I am not sure what type point in the picture is I do know I found it in 94/95 in Clay county Ark. if anyone knows what kind it is I would like to know. Thanks
