New to Arrowheadology

All,
I'm new to Arrowheadology. I've been kicking around Eastern New Mexico for about 12 years and have always been a rock hound. I've posted some of my finds on my profile page. To be quite honest, I have no idea of age, type, or anything of the sort. I've looked online but haven't had much luck. I'm extremely interested in typology and age. I'm not sure i've found anything special. I enjoy them, though!!! Also, does anyone else rock hunt in New Mexico? I haven't seen much online or in the forums...

Hello HH, and greeting's from the snow zone I know as Iowa! That is a fabulous state you are in for alot of reasons-warm sunshine for starters . Then of course their is the Clovis and Folsom connections, where would any of us be without those nowadays?! Not to mention the majesty of the landscape. I'm pretty sure that I have seen several New Mexico members posting here. 'Nan' is the first that comes to mind. And then their was an excellent post awhile back showing an In-Situ 'cross-grooved' axe that as I recall came from your state, or possibly Arizona. I just don't recall the name he went by right off hand. If I think of it or come across it, I'll get back to you with it here again. Possibly another member can help you along on that one. Nice job on the photo album. It definitely looks like you are right on track. So much continued success to ya
