Mohawk from Onondaga

Hello everyone out there I am Flintkeeper from the mohawk nation I grew up among the onondagas in central NY in the original territory of my people. I am new to hunting arrowheads and artifacts. I am mainly interested in places to hunt artifacts in our old sites and find the info on where to start looking a great help but I have not found any as of yet. I have started a collection to help teach the children the tools of their ancestors. Any help with locations to hunt artifacts in new york would be a great help. thanks Flintkeeper

Welcome to the site Flint Keeper,,
I spent five years in Syracuse,,,Don't know of any real hot spots ,,but I would think any area up in the Adirondacks would be good,,,we have a few members from Ny. State.
I hope you can find some more specifics////c

Good evening, flintkeeper.
I have no answers regarding your search, but I want to commend you for what you are hoping to do, and I wish you great success!
I also want to thank you in advance for teaching the children.
