New guy's from Ohio

Hello everyone, this is 3 brother's from Ohio we are new to arrowhead hunting and this site, we started looking in july of 2010, we came across this site about the same time and just now decided to join.It looks like a great site with a lot of info, glad to be here.We are from north central ohio with property in coshocton county, we haven't had much luck at our property because it's not tilled and woods, we do have a ton of flint in our woods, we brought home one basketball size piece of black flint from there, just haven't come across any worked flint. We have most of our luck around home.We are going to post our cases in a different thread let us know what you think.

Welcome from south western Ohio. Glad to see more buckeyes on the site. We are having a get together this Saturday in Jamestown. A bit of a drive for you all but everybody is welcome. Would love to see some pics of that basketball size flint core.

Thanks for responding eddies and fldwlker. Thanks for the invite, but that would be quite a drive, as for the flint core it's been chopped into pieces, it was real grey on the top and had a bunch of pit marks, so we wondered if it was like that all the way thru, so we used a chisel and hammer to get thru the center, it was mainly black inside with some rust streaks and grey outside, it rolled around in the back of my truck for a month or two then i decided to get rid of it, so now it's in the flowerbed. But we do have plenty more big pieces at our cabin, shed antlers will be hitting the ground soon when we head south i will find another piece and snap a picture, they are pretty heavy to carry out of the gully.
