Hello from South Central Kentucky

I've been hanging out here reading the posts for some time and finally decided to take the plunge. This forum seems to be a pretty well-mannered place to talk rocks and exchange points of vew.

I'm a forty-five year old school teacher and have been collecting points for around three years now. I'm lucky in that I live in a fairly artifact rich area - two nice size rivers border my county and there are rock shelters galore. I make it out to walk fields and creeks as much as I can, as well as have a couple of shelters I'm currently digging - don't always get out as much as I'd like, as church and family gets top priority. I've had lots of hobbies in my lifetime but far and away enjoy this one more than any.

I look forward to being an active member of the group, as well as learning from many of you who are much more knowledgeable on the artifact hobby than I am.

I've attached a photo of one of my better frames I just finished rearranging. All these pieces are from my area, either my home county or adjoining counties.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I have learned a lot browsing the boards here the past year or so and hope to be able to contribute some myself.
