Hello from Oklahoma
Hello everyone, I found this site a few days ago and I have to admit you guys really know your stuff. I have posted some on another site but it sort of fizzled out.
I live in Southeast Oklahoma and do a lot of hunting around the Canadian River and Gaines creek areas near Lake Eufaula. I caught the hunting fever about 8 yrs. ago, and have been hooked ever since. I have been looking at some of the pics and there are some awesome finds on here. It has really gotten competitive here with the warmer weather and the lakes and creeks being so low. Anyhow, I will be posting occasionally and putting some pics on. I'm looking forward to talking to you guys. Last edited by jlfrank; 02-25-2011 at 03:24 PM. |

Good to see you aboard. I lived in Eufaula for 10 years and now I live in Muskogee. There's some awesome stuff that comes from around the lake. The Calf Creek in my avatar came from the area. Good to see another Okie on the boards and I can't wait to see some of your finds. -Josh

Welcome jlfrank, I dont know as much as I would like to. You are in a very good area, The competition you speak of use that. Having a territorial tendandy of drawing daltons on the ground doesnt work
raising arms might just get funny looks really though talk to some of them if you encounter them you may make a good friend.

Thanks
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I really look forward to talking to you guys. (probably asking questions more than talking). Anyway I'll be posting a couple of pics shortly. If I did this right , this is a little white river point that I found in the Canadian River below Eufaula Dam. Most of my pics are taken with a 1.3 Meg. phone camera , so not the best quality. JL
